Loved this - my new d/w is in the box in the kitchen - husband is busy for the week and usual plumber is on vacation - - I knew that I could do this (my dad was VERY handy!) just needed a extra instruction.......I can do this!!!! P.S. I do have an engineering background but have been Mom to three kids for the past 23 years - time for Mom to strut her stuff again - than You Big Tony! You are my new hero! Ninety9GT, Thanks for your comment--these vids are in several parts-the ground wire is on there and it is on its own GFI breaker and all d/w do not need the air loop as new d/w have built in check valves.BigTony

Excellent video! Having installed hundreds of dishwashers, I appreciated seeing some of the details such as loosening the legs on the d/w before sliding it back into the cabinet. I did question a couple things: 1) you did not run the drain hose through an air gap, or high loop the drain hose preventing water from draining back from the sink into the dishwasher? You talked about a ground wire but did not ground the dishwasher in the video? Excellent video compared to others I have found.
